Eressea started life as a German translation of Atlantis, and as a result, much of the available material is in German, and it’s the language that most players speak.
However, it is possible to play in English. You will receive an English-language report and be able to write your orders in English. We’ve not been very good at keeping the rules updated, and they may lag a bit behind the latest changes, but still probably at least 95% correct. The community is very helpful, so if anything is unclear, just drop by our Discord and ask!
If you want to play, read the rules and decide on a race to play, then sign up. You’ll receive your first report shortly after. There is also a short guide for new players that may help you decide what to do for your first turn.
